The features included in the "I.M.S - Intelligent Management System" make it possible to automatically adjust the engine rating depending on the power demanded by the "consumers" of energy, i.e. the wheel, shaker, suction and conveyor motors, oil radiator fan, air conditioning, etc. This means that, in harvesting mode, if the driver turns off the shaking and suction machines at the end of a row with a view to performing a manoeuvre, the engine rating automatically adjusts and drops.

Similarly, in on-road driving when the machine has reached its maximum authorized speed, the engine rating drops even though the speed remains constant. This new feature reduces the overall amount of noise produced by the machine and facilitates the driver's job when it comes to managing the engine rating. The motor is managed automatically by the I.M.S. The reduction in consumption can be significant, but depends on the conditions of use. Measurements taken have shown a reduction of at least 20%.

Moreover, the I.M.S. makes it possible to retain constant settings for all the machine's functions in harvesting or multi-tasking mode, whatever the conditions. For example, a shaking frequency set at 420 oscillations/minute will vary only between 419 and 421, whatever the conditions in terms of foliage density, wood size, external temperature and the temperature of the hydraulic circuit. Similarly, should some vines be missing in the line, the shaking motor will not race - which might cause damage to the vines and lead to more leaves being included in the harvest - but remain constant.

The quality of the work performed using the machine will therefore be identical, whatever the conditions.
This highly precise adjustment improves the quality of the harvest performed by the machine: regularity, each and every time. The control loop system is pre-set and needs no adjustment on the part of the driver.
Control of each element is different on each machine, given that it performs a self-teaching exercise by creating acceleration ramps at three different engine ratings.

All functions of the machine are managed from the cabin, in which a man-machine interface conveniently displays all of them on a single screen. This colour touch-screen display is customizable by the user, based on the work carried out, whether during harvesting or in multi-tasking mode.
