Innovation Awards

1. The innovation awards are:

A major international competition, the unique SITEVI Innovation Award highlights the most innovative products, techniques and services in the vine/wine and fruit/vegetable markets

A jury of European experts

Submissions are looked at by a jury of experts from both France and abroad who are specialised in research, higher education and development.
The jury meets on two occasions:

During the first meeting, the jury assesses all the applications.
After this meeting the applications are examined more closely and the specialists in each field of expertise are asked to give their opinion.

During the second meeting, the jury selects gold and silver award winners and commendations.

A springboard for media attention

Two months before opening:
Circulation of information to the French and international trade press in four languages.
In 2007, almost a quarter of the articles treated the prize winners as a main topic
Online publication of the award winners on www.sitevi.com.
E-visitors can then plan their visit around the innovations which most interest them.

During the exhibition
Award winners can choosefrom a range of promotional tools to showcase their innovations and draw visitors to their stand.
The official awards ceremony is attended by the French and international press

After the exhibition
The results of the competition remain online for one year after the event
